Dr. Sarah Waheed is Assistant Professor of History at the University of South Carolina, specializing in South Asian cultural history, Islam, and gender. She is the author of Hidden Histories of Pakistan (Cambridge University Press, 2022) and Chand Bibi: The Lives and Legends of a Warrior Queen (Penguin Random House India, 2026).
